Midwest SMEs lose years to ransomware while job descriptions copy coastal SOC theatre. This degree starts with the closet rack, the MSP contract, and the accountant who is also the admin. You will map crown-jewel data in a 40-person firm, write an incident phone tree, and treat OT-adjacent plants as a change-control problem you do not pretend to PE-stamp. You will write an incident phone tree a plant manager can follow at 2 a.m. and an MSP exit plan that does not assume a twenty-person SOC. Faculty will fail a capstone that copies a Fortune-50 architecture onto a forty-person firm. Winter single-admin failure is a design problem. Public pages will not display CISSP, vendor, or agency seals as if they were Frontier awards. The award is academic. It is not automatic CISSP, not authorisation to attack systems, not a clearance. Assessment stays defensive operations and governance literacy.
Thirty-six credits: SME threat and asset literacy, operations cadence, vendors and OT-adjacent caution, and a capstone playbook. Three-credit courses. No exploit labs as a marketed skill.

Modules are assessed through a published mix of coursework, applied projects, and examinations. Exam windows are announced in advance so students in other time zones are not forced into overnight sittings. Alternative arrangements are available where documented.
The published duration is 18 months. Teaching language: English. Actual time-to-complete depends on mode and any recognised prior learning.
You may study this award fully online from your country, or — where published — on campus at Frontier. Online study does not require a student visa. Campus study may.
