Frontier and Coventry University Launch Dual BSc (Hons) in Cyber Defense and Digital Forensics

To combat escalating cyber warfare threats and critical infrastructure vulnerabilities, Frontier Innovation University and Coventry University have unveiled a joint undergraduate program: the BSc (Hons) Cyber Defense & Digital Forensics (Dual Award).

Covering 120 total credits, the curriculum trains students in network packet dissection, memory forensics, ransomware reverse engineering, threat hunting with MITRE ATT&CK frameworks, and court-admissible electronic evidence handling. Students spend hundreds of hours in immersive virtual Security Operations Center (SOC) simulation labs.

"Cyber defense is an international imperative requiring coordinated transatlantic expertise," said the Chair of Cybersecurity Programs. "Our students learn offensive and defensive tradecraft aligned with both US NIST/CISA standards and UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) best practices."

Graduates receive both an American Bachelor of Science and a British Bachelor of Science with Honours, opening direct career pathways in government defense agencies, enterprise security consultancies, and digital forensics firms.
